WOOD OF A KIND

This Bonsai planter is part of a hemlock trunk that was used to build a stage in Massachusetts for a Girl Scout Camp called Camp Timber Trails.
Starting with the hemlock that I cut in half and hallowed, I attached hallowed juniper legs for the base to ensure plenty of space for the pinion and moss to comfortably settle in.
On the underside of the hemlock, you will find some mesh fabric so that the soil can breathe, along with a copper spout coming from the bottom for proper drainage.
